Allied Grain Systems is excited to be installing a new grain storage facility for premium malt barley provider Barrett Burston Malting.
The company is installing 2 x MFS HTT 24-19-45 silos with a drag conveyor and bucket elevator at their Western Australia facility, Perth Maltings, situated 13km southwest of the CBD.
These silos hold 590T each, which will contribute to growing their 50,000T annual production capacity. These silos will be used specifically to store Malt after it comes out of the drying Kiln.
The plant is controlled by state-of-the-art computerised technology from barley intake, through to barley cleaning, processing, storage and out loading of the finished malt.
This ensures that precise processing parameters are achieved to deliver a consistent, quality product to the brewer or distiller.
