Geoff runs his family’s farming enterprise alongside his wife, Alison, producing canola, wheat and faba beans as their main source of grain.
What is the one thing that you are continually striving towards as a grain grower?
“For me it’s all about achieving the most efficient and sustainable production.”
What is one thing you love about your job or lifestyle in grain?
“There’s so many things I love about it. I love that it’s seasonal and the work tasks change along with each season. It can be very rewarding.”
What do you value most about having mates in the grain industry?
“As farmers can often work alone it’s great to make time for opportunities to meet with others in group situations such as field days and workshops. This is a fantastic way to stay abreast of trends in the grain industry, seek advice and share ideas which is of benefit to all involved.”
